Once you have started a contract, you may share your contact details with the Client or Independent Contractor you are working with for the purpose of communication and collaboration.
However, for your safety and protection, we strongly suggest that you keep the communication on the platform and be cautious in exchanging personal, direct contact information with other users. You may use our internal Chat feature for communication.
Please also note that it is a violation of our Terms of Service to directly or indirectly contact other users for the purpose of:
- contracting outside the website;
- making an arrangement for some or all of the payments for Services to be made other than through the website; or
- offering, soliciting or enticing a user into your employment or engagement as a contractor, unless you have entered into an alternative arrangement (under Terms of Use clause 4.1).
