Are there fees for Independent Contractors?

In most cases, Independent Contractors (ICs) do not pay any fees to use the platform.

However, a small number of long-standing client agreements include a different fee structure. For roles covered by these legacy agreements:

• If you’ve earned less than $10,000 under a contract, a 12% fee applies.
• Once earnings exceed $10,000 under the same contract, the fee is reduced to 7%.

These arrangements apply only to specific legacy client relationships. If a role is subject to this structure, it will be clearly communicated to you upfront during the contracting process.
