During the independent contractor sign-up process, you'll be asked to choose an expertise for yourself. This is the general area of work you focus on and will be used to help categorise you as an independent contractor.
While we have many different areas of expertise to choose from, you may not be able to find one that exactly describes what you do. If this is the case, we recommend taking the following two steps:
- Choose the expertise that's the closest to what you do. You'll be able to choose from hundreds of specific skills later in the sign-up process that will help clients more accurately understand the types of services you can provide them.
- If you feel we're missing an important expertise, let us know by creating a feature request.
